tiles color

my new house has
*3 bedroom
*a common living room and kitchen
*3 small rooms (laundry, study and tv room)
I am planning to use 3 different color tiles
1 wood type for bedroom
1 light color for common space
another light color for the other 3 rooms.
what do you guys think?
any idea about the current wall color trend?

Keep all of the flooring the same so your house looks larger for better flow and so the eye does not jump around.Also more flooring makes homes look like additions that have been added

Dear Ashley,

Currently greys are quite popular, white, off white, etc.

May I ask you if you have underfloor heating? If not your floor is going to be quite cold. It is hard to suggest any colours you should use and this also depends on how you are going to decorate your interior, how big is the space, how is the lighting, etc.

Keeping all in one colour would look boring and flat to me so I definitely would go for different colours/shades.

If you could provide more info/pictures would be very helpful.

Also, which i your favourite style you would like your house to feature?

I feel there is perhaps too much colour and pattern. I think going for a french country look with white walls, including the brick, blue additions in accessories and for the fabric. I think Zelig tiles in an off white or blue or even pink would suit your kitchen. I would go for a small gingham print for the skirts in a blue, green or pale grey. A thin country stripe would also go well. Just keep the palate simple. Zelig tiles have a lovely pearlised hand made look (first pic). There is a beautiful magazine called Country Homes & Gardens which showcases lovely cottages and other country houses and a great place to get ideas. Pinterest is also good for ideas and is free. Hi, we are renovating our ensuite and need some style guidance on choosing a tile colour. Please see the tile colours and design inspiration mood board for both ideas. We both love grey but are unsure about using several shades of grey. Do you think using one colour option (Anthracite charcoal) is a better option for making the room look more stylish and uniform or would it make the room look smaller? My other half is keen on using several shades of grey to make it more appealing to suit all tastes (Just in case we choose to sell in the next couple of years). Many thanks.

Thank you all for helping as we were very stuck. So it seems that the Marley Dark Brown (4th from the left on the 1st picture) will work. It looks grey but according to the builder it is called brown🤷🏾‍♀️. We had thought the red old english marley 3rd from the left. Should I then have the sliding doors at the back of the house in white too? What colour front door? The back of the house will be rendered as will half of the front (first floor)? Thinking white render.
