Hi colour happy and Minnie101, I really like both of your ideas. Leaning I think more towards the style of the Flynn chair. Though I think both would work....decisions,decisions!! As we are wanting to replace all of the chairs.....could we use the same style as the Flynn and just have 2 different colours for the host? Or would you use 2 different styles? Thank you! I am new to all of this....it's all very exciting but makes me nervous at the same time :-)

If you're wanting a traditional look then I'd go for a dark table. You could look at getting an antique table and adding modern upholstered chairs. If you don't want somethng traditonal then I wouldn't limit yourself to a wood, just spend time looking at tables until you find something you love and then plan the decor around that

A craft person could make the whole thing for you. I'm pretty sure I've seen a similar service on the high street too - John Lewis offer stone top tables that they make up to your spec. Not sure if they do Quartz - perhaps you could ask the same people that supplied it for your kitchen?

Hello, I love the concept and the 'EAT' :) my honest thought is the light wall on previous picture gives you a sense of space whilst the black closes the space off, giving it more of a American dinner look and you can see the wipe marks. I'm a colour specialist obsessed with paint & colour! To get across this I would recommend going for a chalk board paint in a colour, drop me a message if you do want more details where to get it from.
