How to lay out furniture in long living room with TV and Fire place
Comments (10)Thank you very much for your help - this will be a bit of a re-wiring project and I am not sure that all of the tv tech will fit as it is all so wide with the long wide stand and speakers but ultimately you have given us the right layout solution for the use of the room so thank you all 👍🏻...See Moredecorate assymetrical fire place and nearby wall
Comments (5)I'd remove the fire tools too (they should be on the floor, I think). A plant that will hang down the side (perhaps a Scindapsus or Philodendron) on the part where the tools now are would be enough decoration on the fireplace for me. I would however prefer a wall to wall TV shelf on the TV side and art on that wall. Just something simple. A shelf below it for the technical stuff? A large basket with logs on the left side maybe? Comments (6)How far off centre is it? Could you widen it to make it more central? Only alternative would be to replace it I guess, which will involve moving the gas fire too....See MoreIdeas on making this small wall a fire place/the feature of our lounge
Comments (0)We have recently bought a house, we love it but i would love to do something with this wall and turn it into more of a nice feature in the living room, we haven’t got a chimney but i am going to buy an electric log burner, and would love to by a beam too, then have the TV above on the wall, so basically just want some nice cosy ideas to turn this into like a fireplace? :) thank you (on the photo it’s the wall with the tv on) Not a huge space but i’m sure we can do something with it ?...See More- 10 years ago
