Carolina is correct here with recommending a Victorian Floor Tile or Quarry tile. They do come in 100x100mm approx and are in a matt finish. I’m not sure you will find a woollen fabric cheaply. A woollen blanket alone can cost around £50+. May be worth looking at the online fabric shop Fashion Interiors - I’ve used them and they have a huge range of fabrics. The Scion fabric I ordered was beautiful and came on a roll, so less creasing. Laura Ashley still do wool curtain fabrics so may be also worth a look too. You just have good taste!

There’s an eBay seller called modernancient who has mostly mid century stuff. You can also just search eBay for 1950s furniture or 1960s furniture and that will bring up you loads of midcentury items. Also worth looking at your local auction house, our local one has masses of mid century furniture every week.

Try Googling “Edwardian Porch Trim”. It was an era that used similar trim to the front of houses. Found this company online but do your research as I’ve never used them. It’s a lovely look.
