The Reclaimed Flooring Company has been part of the Houzz community for over 1 year. Over this period of time, we have been really happy to see the great enthusiasm and interest in our products and projects.

From all our projects, we selected the top 8 pictures with most visualizations and clicks and now we ask to the Houzzers out there to choose your favorite picture and tell us what makes it so special. The best answer will win a shiny Kindle Fire 7!

The competition ends on the 31st January 2016 and we will contact the winner within the next couple weeks. To be eligible, all competitors must vote for their favorite picture and leave a message stating the reason of their choice. By participating on the contest you are agreeing to our terms and conditions:

The London home renovation for me. The mixture of the books in tall bookcase (reminding one of a library), the music the piano produces, and the bright, exotic wallpaper and the birds all allow the user to be transported to different worlds. You could imagine this room belonging to a story teller, an explorer, or a renaissance man or woman.

The NewYork apartment in the movie 'Down With Love' is my personal favourite. Sunken, circular longe, lofty spiralling staircase and that view! I'd change up the colour scheme, a bit too pink for my tastes. Or even it out by spending time at the equally stunning, James Bond-esque bachelor pad, with its wood tones and blue velvet goodness. Oh yes!

Voted for Floral but all of the styles are beautiful in different ways. I imagine floral style that comes with a cosy living room with lots of soft furnishings and a granite fireplace to gather around to.

I've voted for Floor Panels & Parquet designs as I've never seen something like this done before and love the unicorn on the wall. The cartoon design on the wall reminds me of an old song I used to like by A Ha where the cartoon comes to life so could well imagine jumping into the wall and going into another world. I'm not a drinker though do love the range of spirits available to select from and the glimpse into the wine cellar below is just amazing, what a stunning way to get into the cellar.

I love the makeover in Nottinghill, the beautiful green wallpaper is so exotic and the warm tone of the natural wood picks this up and tones with it so well, as does the warmth of the built in wooden structures. It is lovely to see a house with real personality, there were brave choices here, nothing bland and too co-ordinated or clinical looking, I wish more people would really push the boat out and go for an highly individual look in this way. It is the only way to end up with something YOU love rather than is totally safe!

That bathroom is absolutely amazing. I love the weight and warmth of the grey and the way the white breaks the colour up. It would be such a lovely place to wallow. Great job!!

I love the visual balance in the bathroom. The juxtaposition of traditional and modern elements give it an off-beat style, which is kept consistent in the simple colouring. It's beautiful.

I voted for the parquet flooring. We have a small hall with one that we have tried to renovate that is quite dark. I was impressed with the various colours they were able to show, quite beautiful especially the lighter coloured greyish overtones on one particular photo.

I love the contemporary look of this bathroom which still has a nod to the tradition of the building with the flooring and architectural features. Stunning project.

Oh wow the flooring in the kitchen perfectly complements and brings out the grey elsewhere.
