Love to see others wearing Christmas jumpers, but can't justify paying out for one that's only worn at maximum for a few days of the year.

I have seen some nice ones but there are too many tacky ones, so the possible fun with them is lost. I have a darkblue handknitted fisherman's sweater from Shetland which I love to wear with a white cashmere scarf, that is about how far I will go.

Love the cushions, I struggle to find a Christmas jumper that I would be happy to wear more than once - that makes it too wasteful for me.

Not my cup of tea really but I wear one to work occasionally over Christmas period (children's nursery) it's worth it to see there little faces light up! They love it!

I'm all about the alpaca jumpers which I bought on a trip to Peru....they double up as Christmas jumpers! I can't resist a bit of festive sparkle also, it's the only time of year I get the sequins out!

Why, oh why can't we leave children to enjoy Christmas without trying to take it over? I'm really not a fan of adults dressing and acting like kids. Christmas jumpers are a joke that's gone on too long!

Ps - Clearly we love, like or loathe them, but I can't help feeling a little glum at some of the 'hate' comments at this happy time of the year, casting most emphatic aspersions on other folk's taste and sense of fun. Very sad. Maybe next year? Buy a cheap one in the sales! Ho ho ho!

You can't go wrong with a classic fair isle jumper at Christmas

Can't show u a pic of mine because it's in the wash, again! For me the festive season starts on 1st December, when we START putting the decorations up, and Xmas jumpers are absolutely for the whole season too, not just one day. Mine is quite tasteful, black and Ivory fairisle style, with seasonal motifs in the pattern. It makes me feel jolly, especially when I see other ppl smiling at it. Merry & cosy Xmas Houzzmates!
