What style of kitchen should I choose?
Comments (5)If you have a designer on board they should be able to show you different options with their CAD programme - I do this for people quite often if they can't decide on finishes - although sometimes small changes like swapping out a Belfast sink for an undermount one can make it a little time consuming - having the choice makes it worth it so the client can really see the difference ! As I work for the client - it's all part of the service ! (Then we suggest you shop around and negotiate some great deals with your OnePlan design, which enables you to compare prices 'like for like' rather than having several different designs with all different prices ! We don't sell product - just design)...See MoreWhat matters most when choosing a kitchen designer?
Comments (5)I do feel that sometimes, that a lot of "designers" attached to/associated with retailers don't necessarily listen and understand the needs or wants of the buyer, but are more about just fitting their product in the space - often irrespective if it's the best use of that space or the most pragmatic solution. Personally i think its better to be completely different rather than trying to tie it in and not getting it completely right. In my old house we had oak floor throughout then a granite in the kitchen/diner i never even noticed it. Good luck...See MoreI’m not sure what floor to choose for my kitchen/living room
Comments (4)I suspect the cabinets are blue (grey is a meaningless word to desrcibe a multitude of desaturated colours, but most are actually blue/grey or blue/violet/grey or green/grey etc). I would balance the cool of the cupboards with the oak flooring (bottom image) and repeat oak items around the kitchen. 'Grey' can look sophisticated when balanced with other colours but a bit overbearing when it's overdone. A balance of 'warm' and 'cool' is always a good idea....See More- 10 years ago
