I know that Karndean have installation advice regards under-floor heating - basically it says check with the manufacturer of the heating to make sure it's compatable. I presume Amtico is much the same as the products are glued to the flat surface. Karndean advice page. This is a handy advice page for tiles. The usual problem with those is that the Adhesive again, can be affected. Tile depot advice. You don't get any of the problems with radiators as they can't affect the floor temperature directly.

Underfloor heating can be used with some carpets & laminates but is better suited to use with tiles. Electric underfloor heating mats are easy to install and great value for money. Tiles are great for high traffic areas as they are hard wearing and easy to keep clean, where as vinyl can scratch or fade. Wood effect tiles are extremely popular at the moment as they look fantastic and last for years - and you can use them outdoors too to connect your new extension with your patio or terrace.
