Ah... mostly the fact that I'll see my son again but I also like the quietude of an empty house. And coming home is best of all on a sunny evening when I can wander out into the garden and, quite literally, smell the roses.

I agree, seeing my children at home after work gives me peace and the feeling that I'm just where I should be.

Just come back from holiday in Dorset, and much as I loved it I was so glad to be home. My Italian papa used to say "Mia casa, mia aria" - "My home, my air". There's nothing like your own home, your own bed and your loved ones nearby.

Love everything about being at home, esp spending time with my family.

Being greeted by the dogs, who are always pleased to see me. Also shutting the door on the rest of the world.

Lighting a candle as soon as we get home to fill our home with a gorgeous scent!
