If you are doing some redecoration, we would advise to do the floor before hand and then cover it up well when you proceed with the rest of the work. With the beading in some areas, but not in others it appears that the sealant is worn out in places. The floor may need to be sanded and then sealed. A hard wax oil could do the job for you and can be reapplied in areas it has worn out without the need to re-sand. If you want any further advise on this, please feel free to call us. Lovely floor! Yes, it looks like terrazzo to us. Terrazzo can be sanded and polished to revive its original colour. It will definitely make a difference to your floor. Maintaining it like this will also help extend the terrazzo's lifespan, too. Let us know how it goes!
