Hi Sofaiza, It sounds like you have done great so far and have a great space. Well done. I have just completed a kitchen design with what sounds like exactly the same kitchen units. We went for a speckled white worktop which worked really well. We then chose a light grey with a hint of blue for the walls - this is modern and fresh and works well with the white gloss and with the silvers or whites that may appear elsewhere in the kitchen. What flooring have you gone for? For a contrast Black worktop went well and was considered for the same project I mentioned. For the features walls the tiles sound intriguing but I would need to see them to get a better idea or know if they would work with the design. Sounds good though. After waiting 2 weeks from January order of oak window sill, ledge shelves and flat shelves that arrived 4 months later, then another month for fitter to find half a day to fit us in... TOMORROW'S THE DAY. And we're ready. Might even get some 'after' photos on here.

I'm always a little suspicious of professionals using apostrophes incorrectly :-) but it looks like you've done a good job on the renovation. Personally I'm not a fan of a freestanding bath, nor an 'open plan' bathroom, but I was pleased to see you've kept the wooden ceiling (cladding) in the master suite. How did you manage to take it out in the first place? Or did you actually have to replace it?

Hi Adam Gonta, there are creative ways of zoning open plan spaces such as using furniture as dividers. As an example you could opt for a piece of furniture that may double up as a media unit and behind is your bedroom area.
