I think size-wise you'd struggle - unless you use second bedroom for storage/dressing room. Your main bedroom is similar size to mine and I opted for larger family bathroom rather than 2 tiny rooms for sake of ensuite.

Another consideration will be where plumbing/drainage is currently running, as this will cause major upheaval to re-route. Do you have current floor plan?

Thanks both, I don't have a floor plan at the moment and I have to see how to get one.. The previous owner didn't have own so I have to get one myself but I have attached one that looks similar to mine

I have a 3 bed end-terrace house

but maybe I will go with the idea of a larger family bathroom like you mentioned

I think I'd find master bedroom a bit snug - if you take the built in wardrobe at minimum depth of 60cm you'd only have 265cm. Double bed bring just under 2m wouldn't leave you lot of room to play with. I'm assuming current kitchen is under bathroom which means you'd have to route drainage etc through ceilings

Can I ask why you want en-suite? Is it for additional bathroom/toilet or to complement what you've already got? If you need additional facilities could you look at putting something downstairs?

catherinehale7 hi Catherine, that floor plan isn't for my home but it's the same layout. If I were to increase the size of the bathroom do you think that will be ok.

To be honest, I'm not very fussed About having an ensuite I just thought it will help with the value of my home

There is already a toilet downstairs and a bathroom with toilet on the top floor
So wanted like a separate shower room as well...

You need to weigh up the value added by an en suite against value lost with small bedroom size. Might be worth asking a local estate agent.
