I'm feeling pleased to say I have now be later in life been enjoying some of the things I'd love to have, for some time so they don't count for my 'one thing I'm still hoping for..' I love my upmarket induction hob with timer that saves my food from my memory when distracted by a phone call for a chat-length of time; no day goes by without the thrill of pulling open my kitchen's larder cupboard where the contents are so visible and high space is utilised. I agree with ? about having a bidet and have just had one installed and another wish - a walk-in shower Yeah!

Hi Jen, I would leave headboard as it is without painting, I'm not sure about the round thing in the middle...the best would be a simple natural wood one with plain surface... Anyway if you decide to paint it sand it first with sandpaper and make all corners round, it will give a special personal touch. :) Make sure that it is well fixed to the bed.

I think they're great for getting rid of stuff although there is the danger that you come home with more than you started with. At the last one I got rid of surplus china, prints, lights and loads more, however I did buy a wooden rocking chair and narrowly avoided buying an old stationary engine. I shall do another one soon as I have just helped my sister move house and now have loads more stuff that was too good to throw away.

Hi Leah. I like the new storage. I'd keep it quite simple. A wooden shelf over the radiator with a round mirror over the top. Add a vase of eucalyptus, candles, diffuser etc on the shelf. Radiator I would just paint in the wall colour If you do paint. If you want you could add a couple of the hooks at the bottom of the stairs for hanging bags, a hat etc and then maybe a belly basket where the box is for kids gloves, scarves etc. I think it would tie in nicely to your living room.
