Tiny bathroom - before/after

We were limited with the space in this room but really wanted a bath tub in here.

The floor was horrible. It was impossible to get clean and you could see all of the accumulated muck from the previous owners which had gathered around the flat pebble bits.

There was a step running across the length of the floor from the edge of the doorway all the way through the middle of the room (hiding pipes etc). This was removed and all the pipes were moved under the floorboards.

We debated whether to have the bathtub along the left side wall (where the old shower was) or to have it on the window wall. If we had a sink under the window we wouldn't have been able to have a mirror above the sink (unless we just had a mirror that stood on the windowsill). We decided on a big wall mirror on the left side wall and put the tub under the window. We should get a blind for the window, but the back of the house is hidden from view anyway.

To say that we've had a tub put in this room, it doesn't feel like we've actually lost any floor space.
