I have now! I didn't use one in my previous home and after a few years, no matter how much I scrubbed, I couldn't get the droplet stains off. So I have no experience on regular cleaning :). My sister, who is a regular cleaner, says it will still get dirty in the end. But maybe she didn't use Viakal :). I must admit I don't use the squeegee much. Our current shower cubicle has tiny 20x20cm white tiles and no hand sprayer. It just doesn't seem to matter whether I use it or not. Can't wait to get a shower with large tiles!

Will you need to move any of the plumbing/replace any of the piping/waste outlets? If not... Then it should be relatively straight forward, rip out old fittings, get a plasterer in to plaster the elements that will be on show (ie not behind tiles), then just find a local firm to do the tiling and bathroom install as one job. I had to do a fair bit of prep myself as some of the piping needed to be sunk in the walls, routed under the floor so i had to chase out channels in the wall and also run piping through the floor joists... After that though i got a plasterer to re-skim where required, a fitter to fit the shower then tiled the walls and floor and then finished fitting of sink and toilet and heated towel rail...

Hi, I'd definitely keep your feature bath. This can be painted in a nice Fired Earth Eggshell finish. I can't comment on your basin or wc, as I can't see them and have no idea what condition they are in? I'd tile the floor, shower areas and window reveals. I'd suggest upstands (skirting tiles) around the rest of the bathroom, then you can add some nice colour to your bathroom your painted bath will be a lovely feature. Have a look at some of my photosets which may give you some inspiration. Having said all this, I think your budget is unrealistic. The most important component in your new bathroom is the person who undertakes the work and this will cost you money. Good luck with your project. Jeremy

We've installed shower panels as opposed to tiles a few times now. They are quite straightforward to install and the feed back is always positive. Haven't used Bushboard products specifically, but I guess they are similar to other brands.
