Right, when needed, my cheap graphic app decides not to work. I'll try and explain it to you. First, let's work with what you have at the moment. I'd move the microwave on a shelf on top of the sink, on the fridge or thereabouts. Not sure where a plug is, but you must have one on that wall. In this way, you keep the kitchen stuff in that area. Your Tv looks like it could go on the shelf where the microwave is now; if not, you could either buy a low stand or have it hanging up on the wall. You can then add more shelves around it, something like in the pic below. The wall where your desk is at the moment can also take some narrow cabinets or shelving. Again, I'd use walls and the height of the room to get the extra space, leaving the floor not too busy; if you get some narrow cabinets or shelves, you can achieve a great look. Or, have the TV on the wall with the desk, move the sofa in front of it and get the round dining table at the other end of the room. I hope it makes sense. Hi. That’s a lot of stuff to store in a small space:) but not impossible. I too think a floor to ceiling cabinet would be good for storing a lot of things. I’m thinking a half cabinet on the left with a clothes rail for coats on the right. Then underneath the clothes rail coming out at a right angle a narrow bench or even a box with lift up lid for shoes. Hard to explain so did a (very rough) sketch (see pic below).

The windowsill is low (lovely big window) so I think an ottoman that you can also sit on if you want is a good idea as it wouldn’t be high enough to cover the bottom of the pane of glass. possibly oval shape? Otherwise there are corner storage units that are a similar shape to the alcove tho I don’t know if that is a bit unecessary, a standard bench/ottoman seems like a nice idea.
