Hi all, I’m still trying to source this light fitting. I don’t mind so much on the sizing now - it’s that the one in the photo is practically like a picture frame - hollow in the middle. Please help!

I use Gumtree a lot, sometimes successful and sometimes not, but there are no fees so my perfect place to sell stuff! I agree with Jonathan, Facebook Marketplace is full of time wasters and, lately, scammers! I’ve never sold on eBay but they have all sorts on there including antiques. The other thing you could try, once the shops re-open, is small, quirky home shops. Many buy as well as sell.

Have you decided on furniture layout (and the actual furniture so you have the dimensions)? I don’t mind an oversized light but I think layout and ceiling height is key. My concern would be the height, aesthetically if you had the light at the minimum height it will look somewhat different. Realistically you’d probably want it at 70cm which becomes problematic?
