I'm buying a barn conversion and I'm unsure if I require a surveyor to solve my problem; I need some advice. The barn has recently been converted but was originally built roughly 100 years ago. The land registry shows that the boundaries of the plot do not match up with the building on the land. I'm unsure if this means that part of the building won't belong to me after completion of purchase, or if the land registry is simply inaccurate. Can anyone provide any advice or point me in the direction of someone who can? Much appreciated, thanks!
