A undermount stainless steel sink is by far the most 'bomb proof' of all the options with practically zero maintenance. Composite sinks can stain over a period of time as you've found out although it has to be said the quality and stain resistance varies from brand to brand, for example an Astracast composite sink will stain far easier than a Blanco. But a good quality Blanco will cost double what an Astracast may. Another option you may consider is a quartz sink to match the worktops. It depends on the brand of quartz you're going for as not all manufacturers produce sinks or it may not be available in your colour way. For example Silestone produce many sinks where as Compac don't (Although I should add some manufacturers can custom build a sink out of any brand if budget allows)

The floor in the conservatory will be the same as the kitchen and I will probably keep the walls cream in both rooms. But hopefully this gives you an idea of the flow. The dining table is going and we’re actually taking the breakfast bar out and turning it around so it faces the opposite way with an adjoining dining table. At the moment we have a sofa and chair in the conservatory - just deciding whether to have 2 sofas instead. Having a bit of a revamp in the conservatory bricking up the left wall and putting new roof and bifold doors in.

We picked up a couple of breakfast bar stools with lifts off eBay. Can’t remember what we paid a couple of years ago but they were described as open, unused, display items. They were an absolute bargain and nothing wrong with them. At the risk of being shot down we tell all our customers not to use a bowl in the sink. They do scratch the sink. Is it too late to consider a boiling water tap? I’ve just had a Qettle. Absolutely brilliant especially if you drink a lot of tea or coffee.
