Before & After: Our Rear Garden

When we bought the house, the garden was a bit of a jungle to say the least. Whilst the grass was 'ok', the borders, trees and bushes hadn't been dug or pruned in almost 10 years?
Time to get it cut back! There was A LOT of stuff that went to the skip.
With most of the tree's cut back, it was time to rip out the old rotting deck
And then expand and fit a new one
Whilst that was nearly complete, we also started painting the fence
Then it was time to tidy up the edges and add in edging stones all around the grass, and decking
Throw up a waterfall and raised bedding around the silver birch. I was reluctant to do this, but the roots exposed from the birch didn't give me much choice
Oil it with the same stuff as the decking and put together the table and sofa
Wire in the lighting, finish the turf, bricking and enjoy
