what colours will go with this vanity unit in my bathroom?
Comments (7)My personal preference is only to tile the necessary areas in a bathroom especially in the UK, a totally tiled bathroom will feel much colder and harder. It's also possible to wallpaper in a bathroom as long as the ventilation is good and you coat the wallpaper in a wallpaper matt varnish, 4 coats rolled on will protect it (see pic.). The bathroom scheme all depends on your personal preference and how you want it to feel e.g. calm and serene or dramatic and exciting. Match in the vanity colour (see tips from Man About The House) for a calm palette....See MoreHelp - B&Q vanity unit - what toilet can I have?
Comments (3)Hi, the link supplied is the whole package which is the unit, the L-shaped sink and the toilet. The only thing not supplied with that is the taps and waste. You can buy all the bits seperately, but that's a pack. This is the cupboard on it's own, B&Q Vanity Unit which you could purchase and have pretty much any back to the Wall toilet. However, the cupboard is L-shaped and requires the exact sink on top. Go for the pack, buy the taps and waste!...See MoreBathroom vanity units, help!

Comments (5)Unslotted waste because there is no overflow hole. Choose one in a finish that matches your chosen taps. Bottle trap goes under the sink, in that space where they’ve shown folded towels and soaps. It will be visible so choose a nice one that matches your taps. The one in the picture clearly isn’t plumbed in. You will see there are two holes in the shelf which are to allow space for the bottle trap (if it hangs down that far) and the pipework to the taps - this pipework is also not shown in the picture. You may want to discuss with your builder/fitter/plumber how they plan to do the pipework so it looks ok. You can get decorative pipe collars in eg chrome effect that will look better than exposed copper pipe, or paint the pipes. Or you can get the pipes chased into the wall but that will be more expensive especially if it’s a solid wall....See More- 9 years ago
