Thank you so much JMW. I love the idea of mismatched dining chairs. We will have the matching ones we've got for the time being but something to think about for the future. Oh and the integrated blinds are grey, a paler shade than the frames, so I have missed the boat on putting in white ones. I did consider that but my husband thought it would be too much white. Thank you too Tamp - your encouragement and support is gratefully received and I'm thrilled you think it looks great! I think it's a good point that once the floor protection is up it will change things dramatically. Will post pics once we've finished! Thanks again.

Morning, From what you have said, I would go for James White which has green undertones rather than yellow understones like the White Tie. James White is fine for Exterior Masonary and you will see that option when you purchase. I would then pair that with the French Grey for the front door/woodwork. This is a classic colourway of theres specifically made for outside woodwork. It's the one you see on small pretty cottages. The colours works well with the James White and sits beautifully outside. Any colours with greener undertones will work better outside as they will harmonise better with the other colours from nature and not look so out of place when aging or getting slightly dirty with time. OceanHomes- it's already been painted as seen in picture with Cornforth Re Silestone etc- I personally have a strong dislike to man made stones because they have no life. Marble and granite on the other hand have depth and beauty. I see your point re other colour. I have looked at white and grey granites but non of available ones have a striking pattern. And my floor are white. Ma

Hi there, a lovely climber that needs little or no attention is an evergreen honeysuckle called 'Fire cracker' which grows in sun or shade. One tip for more flowers is train the plants horizontally not vertically. White jasmine is another evergreen climber that smells wonderful and again needs only to be tied to the wall. It has white flowers that give off a heady scent at night from June to September and in winter the leaves turn a glorious red colour. Cotoneaster is also a great evergreen shrub that looks great all year round and the bees love it. Mine is now climbing a wall but started off as a standard shrub. White flowers in the summer and red berries in autumn. Good luck xx
