So we had building inspector visiting yesterday, who said our kitchen extension has too much glazing. ( we have only started works). We really don't want to reduce windows as we want our extension to be bright and airy, and the layout seems to be quite regular anyway. Going to do SAP calculation but worried about it as our roof is not very well insulated ( planning on doing loft conversion in a few years). Any ideas what can be done to pass building inspection that is not going to end up in a massive cost increase?
