Do you like a retro style fridge freezer? I have one by Gorenje in cream and it perfectly matches my cream units. They look exactly like Smeg retro fridges but half the price. Good quality too. They come in several colours. I bought mine online. If not your kind of thing, it has a bit of a 1950s look, then I would choose the white one to go with your white units. Beige wouldn’t go at all, I feel.

Reminds me of this recent discussion - perhaps you should consider keeping the middle room as broken plan rather than full open plan - could then create a banquette corner for casual dining in the extension and have the middle room as more formal dining room (or a playroom or whatever you need it to be - or put dining table into middle room and the space in the extension is play area or sofa). https://www.houzz.co.uk/discussions/6422430/small-extension-to-join-kitchen-and-dining-room

It's the only thing I've found to help with turmeric stains (as long as you're reasonably quick!) 🙂 Linda, since we're both imagining the same scheme, if it helps I've had a ceramic sink for years and loved it. Very spacious and solid, and a proper workhorse as I cook and host a lot! Sadly my husband dropped our heavy cast iron pot on it and it developed a crack. Still usable and no leaks but unsightly now. I still want white but since I can't undermount the sink this time, I'm trying out the white quartz/composite sink from IKEA. I prefer the option without the drainboard as it's nice and roomy. Thanks Jen. We are almost decided now that we will go with the taller unit. We will get this as a complete unit and my fitter will cut the shelves around the wall column. This larder unit is 600mm deep and 600mm wide. The wall column is about 250mm deep and 200mm wide. Which means we will still have decent shelving space. I have a large (120cm) extractor behind those wall cabinets above the hobs, we can't really do any open shelves there.
