Comments (5)Hi Mr Singe, That is quite a lack of natural light. There are lots of questions with this project like - what is above the property? Are the walls structural? what is your budget? There are plenty of options but as OnePlan rightly said, there are also lots of issues and safety factors to consider, especially if your intention is to let or sell the property once completed. Comments (1)Can you do a room plan, with sizes and position of Window? I think you're going to have to section off the 'Office' from the lounge. Maybe you could use a moveable bookcase. An 'Office in a Cupboard' is a great practical way of hiding the office for when you want to use the room in the evenings as a lounge. The rug is too small. It needs to stretch from slightly under the front of the sofa to just in front of the T.V Unit. Add colour with it and a good thick one with texture. Currently there's nothing above the T.V unit or the Sofa, which are at low levels. Maybe hanging standard lamps to match, one behind the sofa, one in the corner by the T/V unit :- Made.com Sweep lamp Just needs a wee re-jig and a bit of 'plushing up'. A footstool in a bright colour would also help to make the seating area look more comfy. Or an ottoman for the sofa with matching footstool for the chair? Make a partition. You can use a screen or a bookcase or matchstick blinds hung from the ceiling. You might need some privacy if people come over.

In my ideabook called Studio I've saved photos/ comments from designers.... 2" wide aluminum in all widths. More elegant possibly with sheers with fullness.
