Comments (16)Yes, the second pic is how it is now, but it doesn't work. There's no wall for a dressing table (it's currently half in front of the window but blocks wardrobe access), and my husband would like a tv in a normal place, currently on the window wall right next to the head of the bed, so barely watchable. The wardrobes are ok, but that's the only storage we have and they need improving if nothing else. I just feel there's so many 'little' things wrong I'd like to find a wider solution. Comments (7)Have a look at our pro page as we have some designs on there that suit sloped roof rooms - the secret is planning well to eek out as much storage space as you can. Sometimes, you can even access space behind the low walls into eves with drawer storage between the uprights ? (As long as this is done safely and no chopping out essential bits !!! ) so always good to have a professional install ! Comments (15)A well-designed sofa bed will not compromise on comfort. I would definitely check the height if you do go for one just to ensure it is okay for your parents. Alot of companies will also let them test it out for comfort before you purchase. We specify ligne roset sofa beds quite regularly for clients who want multiple uses out of their spare rooms. In your case it really depends how often the room is used. If your parents are sleeping there daily (or even weekly) a double bed would be preferable. And as Carolina has mentioned the opened dims of the sofa bed would take up as much floorspace as a double, but I'm sure you are aware of that, as that is the point in them :) But by using one the room could have more than one purpose. 7 years agoYou can definitely have sloped wardrobes as per photos below...
The wardrobes would have to be hinged on the tallest side to allow the doors to open.Where you have the wardrobes at the moment you will not have room for a bedside table and access to the left of the wardrobe when facing it will be tight due to how the door would be hinged.
You could swap out a cupboard for open shelving in that column.

I imagine you'd be having the wardrobes bespoke made so you could even incorporate some drawers or a dressing table between the two under the window...
I'd advise for hanging rails at a height you're comfortable with reaching to and shelving in the higher space for items you don't use that often.
You need approx 100cm for single hanging so you need at least 230-240cm in wardrobe height for double hanging.
Or you can get pull down rails to take full advantage of the height.

Jen, could you plasterboard out? I can't find a picture but merge these 2 together so basically you create a roof for a window seat in the middle. Would that work??
