Comments (30)Thomas you're too critical of yourself regarding the conduit the space doesn't draw your eye to that detail. For me I was drawn by the warmth of the space. Great work throughout. Comments (18)Hi Anita, thank you for your lovely comments. We do not use green oak on our orangeries based on the fact that the timber will move too much when it is exposed to changes in temperatures (heating internally) in this state and could cause breakages in the glass or encourage leaks. Instead, we season our own oak (allow the timber to dry out naturally) and select the most suitable timbers for each position, obviously it is a natural product so it will still move but it will have a lot less movement due to the fact the majority of the moisture in the centre of the beam should have already dried out. There are different options with the maintenance, depending on what aesthetic look you desire. Please feel free to call and speak to one of our designers for more details on 01384 296611....See MoreBefore and After - Scandinavian style makeover in west London
