Out of the 2 carts, I personally prefer the 1st. It's a little sleeker and seems just a bit more sophisticated to me. I love all the decor choices-I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. The bar glasses are beautiful.

It appears pinker than chair, but nice. Unless it goes better in bedroom. Maybe switch with one there.

The pillow and lamp are perfect! The side table works wonderfully by the chair. Looks to be an excellent size and height. The plaques look like they would fit well on the wall. I like both pieces of art but I think you need to let the bed stand alone. Is there another blank wall in the bedroom that could use some artwork? You don't want to place all of your focal points in one spot. It would be better to let your eye be drawn from one place to the next in the room. I agree that the pillow seems a bit bright but it's fine to have different tones of the same color in each space. Perhaps if it was mixed with a few print pillows, it wouldn't stand out so much. A navy throw would be great in the pink chair.

I've been meaning to mention that I think it may look a bit better to pull the rug all the way under the sofa. It's a bit large and I think it would be better balanced if it went all the way to the wall. That way, less would be protruding out from behind the chair.

We had an amazing time. Up every night very late talking for hours and hours! My husband said it was like someone paused a tape 23 years ago and just hit the play button again-we picked up right where we left off. We're not always fortunate enough to have friends like that!

If you don't love the pillow, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't return it. The two that are on there now look great. I'm not one to love tons of pillows on a sofa or bed, so, IMO, those are perfect as is. Love the dishes!

I like the placemats-the contrast is nice between the tables and plates. It also helps bring the navy around the room a bit. You can use a simple ivory napkin to keep things from getting too busy.

Sorry I have been off the grid. My puppy almost died but is on the mend. I just returned from a trip from Maui with my daughter. A much needed break! So I am looking at Christmas trees. I have access to our green 7.5 ft pre-lit tree and decorations which are traditional green and red. However, I have been thinking about buying a 9 fr flocked tree and decorating in gold and blush. This is the tree I am looking at. I just need opinions on this purchase. Do you think it is unwise to spend money on a new tree when I have access to our old one? Last year some of the lights burned out and was a real pain to fix.

As far as the tree, if the lights aren't all working, I wouldn't worry about trying to salvage it. I'm having the same debate this year and think I'll just go with a new one. I may even avoid a pre-lit tree and add lights each year since when they go out, they're almost impossible to fix. I guess whether you decide to spend the money on a new tree depends on if you're comfortable with the purchase or not. If you are, I say go for it! You've started new with everything else, why not your tree as well? It may seem frivolous now, but you'll have the tree for years to come.
