Hi, I too love the colour railings, however, i'm ging to disagree with everyone as usual. I've done a mock up of the T.V mounted on the fireplace, but you'd have to build up the sides just to make the size of the T.V make sense. ( Why oh why do men want big T'V's????) I didn't like it. I would highly suggest that the T.V either sits on the other wall opposite the couch, or and i prefer this to anything else. Have a beautiful corner cabinet which then turns the T.V slightly towards the couch and encompasses both storage and all horrible wiring !

My goodness I absolutely love your living room! In fact every room is lovely and it shows you really have a good eye for style, so don’t knock it. I think the easiest thing to change is the wall colours in the hall and the living room. If it doesn’t work out then it’s easy enough to repaint. In your hall you could go for something like F&B Purbeck Stone, a lovely taupe, or Dulux Perfectly Taupe which is similar. First pic is Purbeck Stone. In the living room you could add some mustard cushions and some art with mustard within them. I’ve seen dark grey or navy media walls, as Minnie has suggested and they do look amazing. I would add some more floor lamps beside any seating which will cosy things up. In the kitchen I prefer tiles, they just look more dressy than glass. My step daughter has a white kitchen with a white and pink glass splashback and it looks a bit like a vets surgery, very clinical. There are so many gorgeous tiles even in white but just laid in an interesting way or with a lovely texture like the Zelig tiles in the last picture.
