You can buy pens to paint your floor grout to better blend with the tiles at HD. Then pale silver/gray walls with that vanity or a navy lacquered one.

Unless I am badly misreading the color of the floor tiles on my monitor, I don't see why blush pink wouldn't work. I think it would look really pretty.

Here's a better picture of the tiles. Theyre definitely blue, but I think the blue walls brings that out more than necessary.

I agree with suzyq53, paint your floor grout white and the floor will "disappear". In any case, blush pink goes with everything, including practically any shade of blue! Blush pink is a great choice for a bathroom - very flattering for every skin tone. I'd be tempted to go with warm hardware though, not chrome.

We used the lightest blush pink, SW Polite White, in this kitchen, and it’s a subtle warm look. I think it would be great in a bath!

Ooh I love that color, thanks! We have low ceilings and bad natural light, so a lot of colors end up looking much darker in our house than they do in pictures.

I suggest leaving the grout as is and painting the walls gray.

Sorry Beverly but at this point, gray is overdone and trite. And quite frankly it's a huge bore.

@acm, I color-corrected because the blue in the original photo had turned everything blue. Reflection off pink walls will do the same thing. That's why everything looks pink after I painted.

I'm going to jump on the "blush pink" bandwagon. Grey is just starting to look tired.

Have you thought of navy for your vanity? All this to say, don't be afraid of pink walls. One of my favourite colour combos is navy and fuchsia and one day, I will have it in my house beyond my wardrobe.

I had originally picked out a navy vanity! The trouble is, the only one in our price point isnt very practical. it's much narrower and has no drawers. .

Grey is definitely out because all 3 bedrooms are grey and I just need something different. Even though I agree it would look good with the floors.

I would do this type of thing to have a light pink bath without pink paint on the walls.

I'd forego a navy vanity for roomier storage as well.

The big ticket item is the vanity...once you choose that, it will be easier to decide the rest....but I think blush could be lovely.

Elle, myrica's picture reminded me of something. If you're changing your shower curtain, choose that first and then your paint colour. Might be obvious but thought I'd mention it. :)

tartan, I'm open to changing the shower curtain. It came with us from another house. Im just equally lost on what I'd change it too, lol.

A very soft blush color is beautiful in the bath - you just need to check the colors carefully against your floor tiles and new vanity.

I vote yes on a very soft blush pink. ( champagne not bubble gum LOL) We have some of those almost marble looking tiles and painting he grout white was one of the first things I did. ( Who does grey tile and terra cotta grout?)

A pure gray on walls or vanity would make the blue in the tile stick out more. Try a few samples on the walls and pick your favorite.

I would put towel rack above toilet & towel for hands at sink. I like the blush or go off white; so u don't have to keep changing paint to go with the shower.

Easier to match paint to curtain than the reverse. Happyleg makes a good point about off white being a versatile wall colour but don't think that blush walls will tie you in to one colour scheme. It pairs well with white, cream, yellow, coral, greens, blues, gold, grey, charcoal, black... Check Bed, Bath & Beyond. Society6 also offers shower curtains. Pink can be a problem if you apply makeup in the room. The reflection will never give you an accurate reading.

Lights on each side of the vanity mirror rather than across the top will work much better for applying make up as well as for shaving.

Pink, depending on the undertone, works best with natural light from the south. But If you have a different exposure, north and east likes pink with lilac undertones; west likes pink with a blue undertone.

I don’t agree that gray, or any color, is trite, overdone, boring, or passé. Each has its own interesting undertone, which, when chosen with consideration, will result in a fabulous space.
