I was just researching the idea of a wool entry mat/bath mat and came across this article: https://alyshaan.com/why-wool-area-rugs-are-best-for-kitchens-and-bathrooms/ I would think wool would be ideal for a wet area, as it not only absorbs moisture but it allows it to evaporate, unlike cotton which simply holds onto it. That's why a lot of high-quality outdoor clothing and hiking socks are made of wool. Plus I'd rather use something made of a natural fiber than go the synthetic/polypropylene route and buy something that will just go to a landfill once it falls apart or starts looking nasty.

Make sure it is absolutely level, use a spirit level & adjust the feet as required. Also if you can get inside, check the weights are secure, if the blocks get loose it can make a machine wobble. But if not, and vibration mat doesn't help as mentioned above, get a new machine. Our Siemens washer can have a full load of towels, bedding or washable nappies & at 11 years old is still as close to silent and stationary as you can get.

Obviously I couldn't comment on the plumbers first hand knowledge of your situation and plumbing issues he refers to. But you have a sink in the blue room so surely that will get blocked also if he is concerned about blockages.

Morning, There's nothing actually wrong with the bathroom so I wouldn't take up all the tiles and take out the bath. As its a necessity to have the washing machine, how about building the unit along where it is now? From the bath to the wall. The unit can house the washing machine and maybe washing baskets underneath and have two sinks sitting on top of it! You could then place a small unit about it on the wall to detract from how deep the unit is. You can make the unit stepped if you want to to be shallower towards to the bath.
