Hi again ! Kitchen turned out beautifully I see !! Double Lounge ... An idea ... Ok so if you see in from hallway -any childrens things - if placed on the internal wall on the hall side , and in the bay, they will be less noticed on entrance - but your daughter can still play while being observed as she's still tiny - if you have a rug there - that's her 'Island' - any toys not on the island get taken back upstairs... when she's a little older you could perhaps put a mid sized but shallow sofa with its back to the bay - but brought forward enough to give her a play area hidden behind the sofa - but as she'd be then out of view - so not 'till she's a bit bigger !! I'd suggest a pair of half glass, double storage cabinets in the mid section on the wall opposite the entrance gap that house grown up things like glasses and drinks even, visible through the glass but with space for toys and general clutter underneath. Or, if going bespoke - add an integrated under fridge with icebox for mixers and ice cubes. In front of these glazed cabinets - add a simple desk and chair ( facing the entrance) so you can observe little one playing while doing house hold, or work paperwork etc This can double up as a serving space when pouring drinks from the glazed cabinets too. So gives you a front mini play area - desk area then your rear lounge and tv area ... Well that's my take on it !! Hope others also give you some ideas too ! Good luck with it all !!

We have decked area in the garden, which was left from the previous owners of our house.. They've had a beautiful wooden table there with benches, some flower pots around.. I want to have a launching area, while my husband wants a proper dining 4-6 seater table there.. Which I wouldn't mind as well in case we have guests, etc.. But the space would fit both, if we use it wisely. I'm looking for designs, which could help us to make the right decision on how to use space the best. Look at those cute feet! It’s lovely. I would lightly sand the top, then apply a beeswax finish. YouTube has lots of tutorials on how to do this. It looks tall but it could make a great side table next to a sofa, or between to sofas that sit at right angles. Like this, assuming your layout is suitable.

Hello everyone, Just moved to a new apartment and I found what I thought was a beautiful, walnut table. But my partner doesn't like it. Just too big. 2 meters by 1 meter and big legs that feel cumbersome. I considered reselling it, but also thought, maybe I can turn it into a bed. Maybe I'd just use the frame, could keep the main piece in the middle for something else. Use some new wood for the frame slats. Anyone else do something like that?
