Not sure if we’ve picked stuff in the wrong order...
we’re approaching the finish’s part of our 1930s semi extension and renovation
a few months ago we started designing out kitchen and spent ages on it painstakingly getting (hopefully) right and eventually ordered it for delivery next week
builder then said to get doors sorted
then said floors
now I realise we should have picked floor first then doors - luckily neither are confirmed yet.
but what we have done is found darkish floors to compliment the ’light and airy’ kitchen we designed... but should we really have picked the floor first? We spent ages finding flooring to go with the units lol.
The floor is only going in the back and hallway, the rest is carpet,.
im worried the back will look quite dark with the flooring we‘ve picked but it goes so well with the kitchen units..! esp as there are no window on either of the side walls :(
floor plan attached plus the floor weve picked (looks a bit diff in person)
