Hi, The perennial basement lighting problem! I want to use LED lighting panels fitted behind a false set of French doors to give the illusion of a lit window/door. To enhance the effect I thought an enlarged, that is to the size of the doors, transparent image of a garden showing lots of sky might work but where can I find this form of transparency. Finally I do have photos which could be enlarged. Hoe you can help. Wonderful and very inspiring site! Martin

Thank you for your comments. I think given the size of the house, we need to make this a conservatory as it will increase the overall value. I wondered if you have any decoration ideas given the low level of light. I was thinking of putting in a square table and maybe some bench seating to make best use of the space....
