I’m remodeling my kitchen and looking for some advice. I selected a Farrow & Ball color for my kitchen cabinets, but then found out they were going to color match it with a conversion varnish. I understand this makes the cabinets more durable, but then isn’t an exact color match. Is conversion varnish worth it? I’m wondering if I am overthinking this. I asked for a sample and was given one but without the varnish. Should I ask to see an example of the exact cabinet color mixed with the varnish?
