Help Complete This Dining Room

I have a wall in my dining room that I'm not sure how to decorate. I already have a large piece of artwork on one wall and a large wall mirror in the walkway that is open to the dining room.
I am considering a slim console table on the wall opposite the existing artwork. Considering placing some art above the console, not a mirror since I already have one in the walkway. I'm not sure if I actually have room for a console or if that will even look good.
I'm open to all ideas for the blank wall.
Though, I am not looking to move the existing artwork or mirror.
My room is 11 3/4' x 13', and I taped up a console that is 10" deep. That leaves me with 27" between the chair and console. Is that too little? It will be an even smaller space once someone sits in the chair.
Also, if a console is the way to go, what length should it be? My wall is 101" on that side, not including the cut out. I taped up a 60" table. Is that too short?
I'm looking forward to hearing your ideas. I'm stumped and don't know what to do.

Looks like a bonus to me! And so cosy and with great news. Almost a bit like a gigantic bay window. Just perfect for a contemplative cup of tea or for reading a newspaper. Things that spring to mind: reading nook (any smallish arm chair with a lamp next to it - or look up 'stories' for this) and/ or window seat (perhaps using a large footstool) and or a small writing surface (fitted right into the corner, preferably without too many legs on show or a small pedestal writing table (less desk, more cards). A Roman blind is a good idea or curtains that hang outside of the window recess when open to allow maximum light to pour in. Whichever you choose, make sure they are hung high near the ceiling to make the ceiling feel higher up. What do you use the conservatory for? Is the door in the second photo the main entrance into the room? Would the table fit comfortably nearer the window end of the room instead? Then the sofa could go to the other end of the space - not sure if it fits. It's hard to see how the layout works from the photos and without the measurements or a floor plan. Alternatively, would the sofa fit it you turned it so that it faces the centre of the room rather than the window? I'd hang the seaweed mirror above the sideboard or behind the sofa (depending on final layout) and change the floor lamp to one which reaches over into the living space. Also, you need a much larger rug for the living space. The mirror and art are hung too high at the moment. After the layout is decided then you can think about maybe using wallpaper on one wall. Hi Jay, we agree that a golden oak could clash with your walnut worktop. But think you could still go for an oak with lighter or ashen tones. The shades below are understated so would be great for flowing through multiple rooms too. And of course, as they're lighter floors they'd help to keep your spaces feeling nice and open. It looks like the little kitchen area has now gone so I would create a booth style seating area in that space. The piano I would then put at an angle in the other nook facing into the room as a feature corner. The rest of the seating would then be in the main central area. I think ultimately this depends on the budget you now have to finish the room, whether lighting can be changed to incorporate some features and task lighting/pendants. Have you considered having a designer look at the space? I work remotely and include lighting, layout and accessorising in my PDF remote designs. As you already have the wall colour and flooring sorted this you would be surprised how affordable the price is :) best of luck. It's looking great so far.

Jan, thank you. Given the tight space I have, is it better to do one large piece of artwork or a console with a smaller piece of artwork above?

Put the large art piece,,,alone on the opposite side with the cut out

then do a threesome of something on that other wall. And move bar cart to left : )

Some I think would be sophisticated, striking and elegant (like your room):

With this being more for accent than storage or use, I do not think it has to necessarily be very long. I would have one piece of art above, and a bowl or other decor on top, but otherwise keep it simple and graceful.

I like where your big art is — focal wall and reflected in the mirror.

Thank you Jan! The artwork I have up is 72". Will that be ok for the opposite wall which is 101"? If I place the long console on the right side, the artwork above will probably be 60" total, is that too narrow for the width of the wall (155")?
