Bathroom wall paint color
We are remodeling our hallway bathroom and I am struggling with the paint color for the wall. Suggestions would be most welcome!
There is one smallish window that is east facing with translucent glass) at the end of the narrow bathroom.
Most selections have been made and/or installed.
The shower/tub surround is a ceramic tile called Seaside (https://www.flooranddecor.com/porcelain-ceramic-decoratives/seaside-polished-ceramic-tile-100467729.html).
The floor tile is 12x24 stone look porcelain tile call Belucci Bianca (https://www.flooranddecor.com/porcelain-tile/belucci-bianca-matte-porcelain-tile-100885334.html).

The metal finishes on the shower/tub, including the semi-frameless doors is stainless/brushed nickel.
The adjoining hallway is BM Gray Owl. We will be repainting the adjoining bedroom as well, so suggestions for that room would be amazing too. It is a north facing room with one 60”-ish window. I think we are trying to go really light and neutral in that room (which I know is harder with a north-facing room).

Comments (2)Definitely panels for me. Around 6 months ago we fitted Nuance by Bushboard in the shower. No mucky grouting and a lot quicker to fit than tiles. You obviously need something behind the basin so could cut down a spare piece of the panel and fit it, therefore continuing the colour scheme and then you could paint everything else. By having somewhere to paint it allows you to change things in a couple of years. If there's no panel left add some tiles just to this area. Tiles all round is boring, time consuming and you can't change things in a couple of years for a new colour scheme without replacing all of them....See MorePaint colour for bathroom
Comments (2)Hi Clare, We'd recommend going for https://www.farrow-ball.com/paint-colours/calke-green the traditional sage green colour, which would compliment the terra-cotta floor tiles and pick up the pinks in the flower tiles. All exposed walls would be painted in Calke Green. I'd recommend painting the ceiling white but leaving the exposed wooden beams as they are. Comments (6)Well the room is east facing so is not the brightest apart from from early morning, but too be honest, I don't mind if it's a bit dark as we will have decent lighting in there. I'm not really drawn towards the green tbh, although I can see that it could work well. One of the problems I'm having is that I chose the Purple Brown for the vanity unit when I thought we would keep the walls China Clay Deep, and had also planned to paint the built in cupboard in the same shade, but now that everything is in, I really want to go darker on the walls but don't know how to work that in around the unit without it clashing or getting "lost". I'm considering LG Rolling Fog (Dark maybe) or maybe Roman Plaster. Comments (14)I would go for the lightest paint colour after white, one of the neutrals that you have already painted on the wall. I would be very careful with dark colours in a small space. We used it on the master bathroom shower walls. Came out beautiful. Love the color and tile a lot. Not quite done though. Have grout to clean off the tiles. Here it is as it’s coming along.
