Hi. I think it's a lovely room. I agree with the rug, the cushions and the curtains. I don't find the seating blends into the panelling too much tbh. It would be good to see a pic with the new art. I think the chair needs to be angled towards the sofa and the sideboard looks too close to the the fire. I don't think the mirror works that well and I think something circular or circular'ish in shape would work i.e. a sunburst. I also think metallics are needed for the mirror etc to give the room a lift. I'd dress the side table and the tray. I'd also add some books to the bookcase and try grouping some photos. A couple of darker accents would be good.

Beautiful tiles, I do think something "brown" could worn it up as teal and white is quite a cool combination. What taps etc are you having? Did you mean cornforth white for the living areas? Ive got cornforth in a room with both a south facing and west facing window, I don't actually find it that warm (although appreciate its not meant to be overly cool or warm!) but I would test it in each space as light affects colour differently. I probably wouldn't pair it with cream if I'm honest but would look at the coordinating neutrals (or was cream for a carpet?). I don't think the teal is too colourful btw, you can go a bit mad in a bathroom plus you will be using colour for soft furnishings etc

I am not exactly sure what kind of shade your carpet is exactly, but these are all great colours to consider. Have a look at the image with the different colour pallets, go with opposites on that, if your carpet is more on the cooler side, choose a shade from the warmer shades and then vise versa. Then for your little boys room, a cooler blue is a nice touch. The picture with the half and half colours, blue and white is also a good touch and will go well with the carpet.

Thanks, when I say Greige, I guess I use it loosely and just mean some really earthy, nuetral colours but as the sofas have a yellow undertone I wasnt sure it would go. I have not moved in yet so not other pics to show. I love that pic you posted Sonia, those are exactly the kind of tones I wanted.
