That's a really beautiful vanity. The colour depends on the style you would like to achieve eg. White mosaic with black grout gives a retro feel whilst a beautiful white marble tile or marble look tile gives a timeless classy look. Those are simple examples but the list is endless. Perhaps you should collect some samples if possible and see how they look with vanity and in your home under different lighting condition - day and night.

Thank you C88. I love the thought of a marble timeless but my wall tiles are gloss white and I was worried it would look too clinical. Also I notice that the sample marble tile show up water marks and I mop my bathroom floor everyday. I was considering the following tiles:

Thank you. My bathroom walls are half tiled in plain white gloss. I will be painting the top half. I want the floor to be stunning because the walls are plain. I have looked at patterned tiles but many of them seem like they are better suited in period properties and I want a modern timeless look.

I like this floor tile because it complements my white tiled walls and is similar to the colour of the vanity unit. However, I think I might install a charcoal or black vanity unit since the tile has subtle black flecks.

I have decided on doing a herringbone pattern in the following tile. Any suggestions for grout colour please? The wall tiles are white.

Lovely choice.I would stick to a grey as close to the tile as possible. It will look seamless and compliment the glossy wall tiles.How are the wall tile edges finished?

Thank you. The edging on the wall tiles is white. I am not replacing the wall tiles and I am not sure if the edging can be removed without damaging the tile.

Keep it simple but elegant- a silver rectangular or circular mirror would perfectly match that grey vanity unit

Do you think the herringbone floor and the design of the vanity would look complicated?

I don't think it would be complicated.Which direction would the herringbone go?the size of the herringbone tile?I would go with a smaller herringbone tile for a smaller bathroom.If you haven't made a final choice yet,look at other tile patterns such as chevron similar to herringbone.There are also nice hexagon tiles would compliment the vanity and space.
