Wall hung bathroom units
Comments (2)Hi Daniel, The cabinets in the top photo are custom-made from Crystal Cabinetry in the US: shown is a veneer of lyptus wood over a slab substrate. Wall hung vanity units are available from Ikea and some Italian cabinetry lines. Pine cabinetry may be had, but it is a softer wood than oak or maple (and others). Maple or alder may be an alternative as each can take a light stain well. Do you have some pictures of the space you're trying to design--is it new construction or renovation? Folks might suggest some more good options for you upon seeing some context. I hope this helps. Thanks, Scott...See MoreTiny bathroom makeover
Comments (11)Hi Kathryn, You have a fantastic room to work with! I completely agree with poollover, that corner by the shower enclosure can really be utilised with a wet room screen. It will give you a lot more freedom and make the room look larger overall, Try using wall hung vanity units, this will reveal more floor space, again, opening up your bathroom. As you mentioned, the light in a bathroom is incredibly important! Just as poollover mentioned, using a mirror combined with an extra boost of lighting will look wonderful. If you want some advice to get started with your wet room, we have a blog post that simplifies the process here Unishower have a brilliant range of wet rooms, designed for small spaces. Try the hinged wet room screens or even 3-sided shower enclosures! The enclosures are not quite wet rooms, they're walk ins and again are perfect for smaller spaces - see here! We also providefull wet room kits which means you don't have to do as much shopping around! Take a look as they have a better better flow than other wet room trays and don't require under-boarding. www.unishower.co.uk Looking forward to hearing from you! Comments (6)We actually had ours made my a company on eBay and the chap will make to any size you want and any paint colour you want. The top is solid oak and really beautifully made. I can probably find the link if it helps. Our room isn't done yet, just waiting for the plasterer to come and re-do all the walls, so excuse the terrible state but you'll get the general idea. The one pic is how it arrived and clearly the other is now we've fitted a Lusso Stone matt white sink on top. They do fully enclosed ones too, my preference was to have it open and will put some pretty baskets down at the bottom....See MoreBathroom floor help
