I think we have liked the rustic like pavers like belgard pavers. Is sitting wall with armrest and back realistic for that area?

Seriously??????????????? Any seat that would be comfortable would require a pitched back. You can't do that with pavers .The pavers will be straight up and down. What will you do with the space behind the wall?

How securely mounted is the red board?

If you want to build something with a backrest that is comfortable, I don't think you build it from pavers. However, there are plenty of brackets available that can be easily secured and will receive some easy-to-find wood planks for more comfortable seating.

I am aware of the pavers being straight up. Currently there is a planter or dirt area behind red boards. The boards need replaced as they have dry rot

A friend of mine did benching similar to this on they're patio, I thought it looked really good!

I would remove the wall first and live with it for a month. Chairs are so much more comfortable! I guarantee people with gravitate to chairs with arms and backs!

I'm thinking you are wanting to ADD the feature that the wall can allow someone to sit on it, but NOT be a complete replacement for chairs/benches, as you did not say you wanted to get rid of the chairs you presently have - only to replace the WALL for a wall you can sit on. Like these....

Yes that’s correct. We have termite and dry rot in wood 2x12 in front of plants. I’m thinking pavers to save on future maintenance needs and allow for people to sit also
