That's what I was wondering - whether you could reconfigure it. I would look at as suggested... if you can get the sink in somewhere in the front of the toilet area and the washer dryer area to the side of that where the basin is. I would then use the cupboard for the larger items you would place in a utility, like the hoover, ironing board etc. If you were planning on redoing the kitchen then I would suggest using an interior or concept planner for the whole kitchen utility space so we can look at it all in more detail for you and create something that works for you and functions better within the kitchen it'self.

Morning Paulouise! I'm one of the designers here at Bathroom Eleven, in Surrey. White is definitely a way to bring lightness to a room, however, do always bear in mind the practicality of things like a white floor... it shows up a lot of towel fibers and dirt! A few things I would bear in mind when creating a brief with a client for this kind of bathroom is: - feature walls; a great way to create a sense of depth, particularly with that back wall of the bath/shower area - Keeping textures simple and not overcrowding. A usual error made when wanting to implement more storage is placing something wherever it will fit. Inevitably, this will make the room feel smaller as it will make the walls feel closer and create shadows on the floor giving the illusion of losing floor space - Lighting! Lighting is key! Feature lighting to eradicate shadows is a great way to make floor space feel bigger. - Wall hung Units and WC - keeping things off the floor will give the illusion of a bigger footprint to the room - Mirrors. If you can afford the space to have a nice big mirror on the other wall, that would help to give the room extra width, too. I hope these tips help! Happy to chat more if you want to drop us a message, or if you're local to Surrey, pop down to our showroom and design studio :) Thanks! - Adam

One of the issues we have found with these baths is that the waste pipe needs to be under the floor as it cannot be under the solid bath. your current bath may have the waste pipe running over the floor before exiting in the wall and this is concealed by the bath panel. You may be happy and able to have this arrangement or it may create a challenge with the current pipes exit height in the wall. Baths with feet often don’t have this issue but you may find the styles all verging on a Victorian look for your budget. We found a beauty non Victorian one at 9k and finding it difficult to consider others but what a price for a bath!

Minnie101 I love all these ideas.. I’m trying to work with the room. as you walk into the room, the shower area isn’t visible, it’s behind the door. It’s like an unexpected surprise as it’s built over the stair. What is visible will be the wall with all the bathroom fittings on. Ive gone over ideas of having the floor under the bath and to the opposite wall the same colour as the wall behind it.. when I was going for Showerwall panel. Doing this in these tiles is certainly an option... then maybe the rest of the floor in the light terracotta. I could do with it all pu on an app to see it.
