powder room help
I’m in the middle of a whole house reno and having major decision fatigue. I’m trying to pull this bathroom together and had hoped to do a wall treatment or wallpaper but that got pushed to the end of the list. For now I need to choose a vanity light, faucet and drawer pulls. Any suggestions or similar powder rooms that you can share photos of?

Comments (50)Lol AMW. There's about 15cm from top of window to ceiling & the walls are cement blocks (so no recess space). The tiled 'secret' drawer compartment looks pretty cool though. I've got a cabinet being made in oak which will have to be sufficient for my daughter. The only thing I haven't decided on yet is the punter colour material to go with my java marble tile. Do you have a photo? What are the other furniture do you have ? Any photos ? Do you like colours pastels or brights ? What are your favourite colours ? Do you have a favourite shirt, skirt, jumper that has a pattern or style to it? photo please. Do you have a picture or photos that have a coloured frame ? What colour? Do you like plants ? or you have any already ? Are their any sentimental objects ? what is it, description ? What is the rug you want to buy is there a pic of it ? Are you thinking of some sort of fire, faux stove, or a TV for a focal point in the room ? Do you want to have a workspace in the area too? Comments (5)Could you move the doorway into the toilet to the right and extend the wall on the left to 600mm, ie the depth of a dryer or w/machine so you could then have sink, w/machine and dryer in a line at ground level. Not sure how much space that would give to get in past the toilet. Or move the doorway slightly to the right as described and relocate the toilet so its back is to the family room?...See More

If you are planning wallpaper or other wall treatments, I’d do that first.
If not possible, just start looking through specific elements and putting them together. This is only an example, I'm not suggesting any of these things specifically. I don’t know sizes, budget, where your faucet holes are (will it be wall mount?), light set-up, anything … just showing how it might help to put a mood board together with things you like.
For the window, and for the style you like, I’d do shutters or a cafe curtain.
4 years agolast modified: 4 years agoI papered a powder room once and it’s very time consuming. Applying on the uninterrupted wall though won‘t be hard.
Mirror, accessories and lightening will set the tone; so first decide on a look and then consider accessorizing.
