Ikea recently sold a sofa called Farlov that might fit the bill (I think it might have just been discontinued). You can then have new covers made by companies like Bemz. They’re not cheap, but they’re good and have lots of fabric choice! I’ve recently had an old ikea modular sofa recovered and it’s like new.

Thank for that idea. I’ll take a look. It’s so strange how no companies (darlings of Chelsea, love your sofa etc don’t have this tan velvet colour. I don’t know why I think I lovely

The other thing to consider - most uk made sofas are made in Long Eaton on the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border. The town is full of sofa factories, including most of the big brands. Each factory usually has a showroom and you can have your sofa made exactly as you would want it. (Prices are top end of high street). You can Google Long Eaton sofas, and you’ll soon find loads of info.

Several of the higher end factories are part of a “furniture guild” - this is their website and a good place to start looking at the different brands. http://www.longeatonguild.co.uk/ From memory, I think that Loaf sofas ate made by the Long Eaton Sofa Company factory. (It’s just one of many!). Duresta, Parker Knoll and The Lounge Company are all well known brands, and I think they’re part of the same company. (Think they make a lot of the John Lewis sofas too).

The 3+2 Seater Carol Faux Leather Sofa Set is good for you because, if you are single, it would be best for you or your family, and it is big if you could easily use it.

Sometimes guests will come to your house. It would be best also.
