Bear with me while I explain….I’ve a small area about 1m sq of concrete in front of my new fire hearth where the old hearth previously covered. As a consequence of the new hearth being smaller I’m left with a small area where the level of the concrete is about 4mm lower than the rest of the floor. It will have a carpet underlay over it but I need to raise the level by 4mm to ensure the carpet overlay lies flat. The concrete is sealed with SBR - can I put some concrete patch on top of the SBR, will it bond ? Thanks
