Don’t have dimensions but the en suite looks larger than it needs to be. I would move the wall between bedroom and en suite back a few feet then you could have wardrobe storage space along the bedroom side of the new stud wall. As building a new stud wall you could have a pocket door and I would put the bed and bedside tables as in the diagram above facing the window. In the ensuite I would make the shower as wide as possible stretching between the new stud wall and the exterior window wall and put the toilet and basin side-by-side along the window wall

Thanks, Jonathan. Your suggestion is excellent so thanks for taking the time to put that together. The walk-in wardrobe and en-suite would be luxurious, and it's great to have some hallway storage but we weren't that keen on such a small back bedroom (it could be a maximum of about c.3.4m x 2m, by my estimates, due to where the soil stack is, 30cm to the west of the current bathroom window). However, it got us thinking. A third toilet (particularly a WC) would be handy as both me and my wife work from home and would have, COVID allowing, clients visiting regularly. I came up with this spin-off from your design and wondered what you thought. What do you think of this? Is there another way to make the 2 other bedrooms double rooms?

I would do an "open" bathroom (shower/bath + sink, no toilet because the room is too small to have a closed space) in the wall where the box room is, with a wardrobe opposite the bed. I would not do a partition wall between the bathroom and the room because it would make the space so small, but I would build a Crittal screen-looking separation! This would make your room very wow like you want ;) But bear in mind it would still make the room smaller, and the bathroom wouldn't be huge either, but I love these open ensuite :D Feel free to message me if you want more info, I am an interior designer and I can help you with 3D to imagine the space! I don’t have any clever ideas, but would suggest putting the toilets on the opposite wall to the bed. Sounds from an en-suite toilet is why we don’t have an en suite! So you may not want them backing onto the wall with the bed on.
