Blinds for office

I have a garden office which is a log cabin with wooden window frames. has two windows and french doors to the front. i woild like blinds partly to stop anyone looking jn if they were to get into garden and also to keep aun off computer. i am struggling to know what to get that would go with wooden frames. think anything i get will have to go outside of window. anyone done similar and can point me in right direction??

Without seeing the windows it is hard to advise. Are you saying you want to keep the blinds shut all the time? If so there are blinds that are sheer and stop people looking in but allows you to look out, although they are opaque. My brother has them in his sports bar. Think his were from Dunelm.

Our sunscreen roller blinds prevent glare on computer screens and also provide privacy. Many of our customers have used them in garden rooms as they still allow a view out.

Totally agree with VLS Curtain Makers Ltd. Whether you choose curtains or blinds to dress a window they should be what you like and want, suit the property and your lifestyle. I have clients with pets who would rather have a blind so that the fabric doesn't get covered in dog hair, whereas other clients prefer to have curtains trailing across the floor simply because they like the look and it suits how they live and the style of the property as well as their other furnishings.

Hiya, What a lovely space this will be - with widths of nearly 4m, obviously your choices will be slightly limited, but there are still great options available to you. Vertical blinds can usually be made up to 4 or 5m wide, and with things such as solid louvres available, they can look very contemporary. Alternatively, tracked shutters could be a great option. They look gorgeous and will really add a touch of class to the space. If neither of those options tickle your fancy, you could always try multiple blinds. I'm a massive Gumtree fan, both buying and selling! It's not gonna be the real F&B it's going to be the exact colour match mixing thingy by Valspar at B&Q! LOL :-D It's only his office after all!!! But we're going the whole hog, new desk, painting some of the other furniture and I've spotted some beautiful interlined silk curtains in a local curtain exchange place that will look great! I actually don't know who is more excited about it out of the pair of us. I've just got to work out how to apply some imitation gold leaf to the inside of the bottom of the glass doors...................
