Rather than looking at just the couch I feel all your walls are very bare, so perhaps add some art over both sofas with a bit of rust and grey in them to bring the room together. You can also add some cushions in various co-ordinating colours too and a rug.

Our compliments to you on selecting such a beautiful colour choice and fabric finish for your new interior treasure. Try not to forget about your overall interior design style: is it modern, contemporary and is this the theme you want to convey in this space?

There are three things will which enable you to tie together your new colour scheme:

1. Wall Art: Known as a focal point painting – normally above the central wall in your space

2. Accent Fabrics: Not just in terms of the colours, think about adding contrasting textures here to add more warmth to the beautiful rust shade. Choose a fabric in a colour or pattern that will complement your room, details such as small tablecloths for end tables or even lampshade covers using fabrics. Think about the frame included with your wall art (small details) does it tie in with your theme? For example: if your room has a country feel to it with soft blue, cream and yellow tones, you’d want to choose a painting with these colors, in a light oak, pine or white frame.

3. Decorative Rug: Decorative area rugs are another excellent way to pull a room’s decor together. Place one under the coffee table in the sitting area between the sofa and accent chairs or under the dining room table to tie the room’s colors together in that space. Blend the colors from the area rug with the room through the colors of the drapes, curtains or walls. A decorative area rug can bring a room together and give it a warm, cosy feeling.
