Hi. I think I'd go for the darker green on all walls as from memory you said the room was really light. Personally I wouldn't have the tv on the panelled ŵall as its your feature ŵall and the tv will stand out if you're going for green. Hang the tv above the sideboard on the left hand ŵall. Add table lamps either side of the tv so it conceals the leads. Pull both sofas out from the walls a little. Add the chair where the stove is but not pushed into the corner so it has space behind it. You could try the ladder towards the rhs of the panelled ŵall and move the floor lamp to where the small sideboard is. I'd paint the sideboard charcoal as it will have more impact than the current grey ( although that will still look good) against the green and then add just a couple of grey cushions. Maybe a modern pendant for the ceiling. I don't think it will be too cluttered, you are losing bigger pieces. What is next to the sideboard though as that looks a little cluttered? Do practice with the new sideboard though before you buy the chair so you can see how much space there is

Hi, I saw your other post about the living room (the sofas are gorgeous) and there you asked about flooring. So, are you changing that floor? Would it be an idea to go for LVT (luxury vinyl) in a woodlook and continue that into the hall? Or is the current floor continuing through into other rooms? Is it wood or laminate? I'd just get a nice cover for the radiator. And change the light fixture. Is there coat storage in the cupboard?

Just remember that everything requires scaffolding for access, lighting is tricky and it costs a lot more in paint, curtain lengths, labour, everything really. I have 5m ceilings. The scale is difficult to master design wise.

I like Isla’s idea of shaded white as seen in the 1st pic. It depends on what light you get, i tried it in my living room and where it gets south light it looked like avocado flesh at certain times of the day! I’d do the skirtings in the same colour as the panelling and go lighter on the walls above. Have you also conisdered sisal or jute for a runner? Would tie in with your theme, perhaps with a green border? For a console I’d choose something which can have baskets underneath, and use terracotta etc for a lamp base with a linen shade to maximise different textures. I also love this olive by the front door (walls are also shaded white) I also like the idea of a rug as Sarah and Sonia have shown
