Yes of course, the only change we think we want to make upstaurs is to convine bathroom & toilet into 1 room. But opeb to other suggestions if people can see sonething weve missed.

Transforming your conservatory into a whole year round part of tour house is the way to go. I've based my idea on creating a one open space, each with it's own character.

I've joined up the kitchen and dining are creating one big kitchen with a worktop bench table in the middle doubling up as a breakfast bar area. The burgundy pieces are fitted kitchen, grey in the middle is a slim island, the ochre element on the laft is a free standing display cabinet or other to mix things up and create a little bit of iinterest. The conservatory has beed transformed into a dedicated dining space with bench seating.

In this concept I've removed the sliding doors and the window to create the flow between the two spaces.

What do you think?

Assuming the measurements are correct and the dining part of the room is 3.1m wide then there is insufficient room for an island and enough room to walk around it.

Well spotted. i thought this was a lovely design but you are right. Especially once fitted units are in place. but its looking like replacing the conservatory with an extension is the way to go.

Just to maximise the space a bit more instead than having all this empty space between two runs of cabinets. You can have more storage under it and some open shelves on the wall above it.

I agree with everything you have written but im struggling to adjust my floor plan to achieve it. i am currently going with the one suggested by studio mood above

The conservatory is rather shoddy so I would remove it and if funds allow build an extension instead. Or replace the conservatory with a better quality insulated one on the same level as the inside of your home. Opening out the dining and kitchen by removing the adjoining wall will certainly create a better outlay.
