Awkward lounge layout help.

Hi all,
We moved into a new place about 2 years ago now (so no longer new🤣)
The lounge is just the most awkward shape and it feels like every way we move stuff about were leaving wasted space.
We've got a 3 seater sofa, corner TV unit, medium size Welsh dresser and few other smaller bits.
We'd love some suggestions on how we can utilise the space though.

That could be the trickiest lounge I have ever seen furniture placement wise. Are you keeping all your existing furniture? If you are then there is only one long wall for the sofa to rest against. You could consider dividing the room with a zoning type rug or a low console. Could you post a pic of the current setup so we can see the issues?

TV was too far away for us like that though.

Which ever way just feeling like wasted space.

Hi Mark, perhaps consider a corner mounted screen to the left of the long window. Accompany this by an L-shape sofa against the wall on the right of this window, if you combine this with a side board behind the backrest of the sofa to serve as a room divider and storage unit you create a little nook in front of the window next to the kitchen for a small dining table and chairs. Complete your lounge area with a armchair and coffee table, maybe a few stools for extra seating or foot rest and a nice lamp in the corner next to the sofa. I hope this helps. Both the room as it is with the doors and the room you're looking at would suit a light art deco vibe. You could block the door and cut a new one to make space for a fireplace and TV you could make the door slide and put the fireplace on the other wall you could go wild and put the fireplace in front of the double doors so you can see through it with a TV above.

I would be tempted to take the kitchen all the way across into the current Sitting Room which will give you access into the Conservatory and garden, but by doing this would it allow you sufficient space in the current Dining Room which would then be your Lounge? If you make the kitchen/diner a big social area and have sofas in it and also perhaps in the Conservatory too then you could make the new lounge just an occassional room?

Please could someone else with advice on layout placement ? Awkward layout and furniture. We have a 2 meter sofa, race rig and one of those glass 3 layer tv stand (the actual picture but couldn’t get them in the 3d design lol) the rest is a 3d representation of the layout. We can’t put the TV on the other side because of the radiator on the wall. The sofa against the radiator will be very far from the TV to see. The breakfast nook is a bit in the way of the person who wants to sit. And I want to get some kind of Stand from ikea like the Kallax or something next to the tv I don’t know I ran out of ideas. Any advice would be helpful. Willing to buy more stuff from ikea to make it work I guess. I know the race rig is Chucky but it uses the TV so it needs to stand in the lounge

It looks really smart the way you have it now but the tv watching distance is a problem. I love your tv wall by the way. What about sort of dividing the space? Leave the sofa where it is and then have a smaller round snuggler type of sofa much closer to the tv. How many people watch tv? Either a smaller cute sofa, pair of chairs or a snugger? You would now be looking at their backs so use that as a divider with a low bench or console behind the new seating arrangement. Do you just have the single armchair? If so you could move it to form a seating area with the coffee table in front of the glass doors. Landing side is probably better as then it won't block the light.

It is very tricky, looks lovely though

Have you tried pulling the sofa away from the wall probably 45-50cm. Move the floor lamp the other side of the sofa and push the sofa a little closer to the doors.
